Jahdin whangara camp 2019


intro
Makaraka school in Gisborne has bean to whangara year 5&6 leadership camp
on the 20th of February and returned on the 22nd. They did many activities but
this 10 year old it was the one and only Jahdin Mackenzie and he enjoyed
snorkeling  so they got there gears and off they went miles and miles not it was
only like 50 meters.

Snorkeling part 1
I swum I felt looking i for a kina I found a few and then Eden found one I quickly swum
back to Eden and got the kina it was a nice sized one and and Vincent saying  oh I've
seen bigger but i carry on then there was a really deep part Jahdin and Kyle dived
down we didn't see anything but we check a few more times put there was nothing
so Jahdin carry on up another channel.

snorkeling part 2
I swum I felt looking i for a kina I found a few and then Eden found one I quickly swum
back to Eden and got the kina it was a nice sized one and and Vincent saying  oh I've

down we didn't see anything but we check a few more times put there was nothing

snorkeling part 3
Jahdin finds one or two but nothing to surprising but Jahdin gives the 2 kinas to Kyle
then he put them in the catch bag then it was time to hope out i don’t think anyone
wanted to hope out but it was time when Jahdin was taking his flippers off he herd
Eden shout a crab I went and looked but nothing MR Milne saying come on then Liam
found a big crab wedged between rocks it comes out it was big then went back into
the sewed in the sea then MR Milne being nonsense saying oh it is smaller than your
thumb Jahdin and Liam trying to convince that it was big but when he thinks he's right
he’s is always right in his head.

conclusion
After all that it was time to go back to the marae i don’t think anyone wanted to
go but it was time we had a few kinas so we started walking back the sun
drying us and the hot sand under their feet warming up thanking tangaroa for his
time and kai
